Waiting
Waiting presents a new installation that explores the relationship between confinement and duration. Through a layering of Southwestern symbolism, mid-century design, kinetic sculptures, painting, and objects from the artist’s own domestic space, Waiting offers an environment reminiscent of an interior waiting room and exterior courtyard. These settings intend to prompt reflection on various physical and psychological barriers experienced during the last year and also pose the question of what will come after this extended period of waiting.
